Fine Arts is just one of the seven different challenges kids can compete at in Michigan Destination Imagination. Other challenges are: structural, technical, service-learning, improvisational, and scientific!
Creativity knows no bounds when Michigan DI kids create their props. Lions and dragons and bears are just some of the animals kids explore within the various challenges of Destination Imagination. This team from Mona Shores Creativity took first place (in the world!) for their Fine Arts performance at the 2013 Global Finals Tournament.
The McGuirk Arena, on the main campus of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI, is a multi-purpose arena where the Michigan Creativity Association held its' Destination Imagination Affiliate Finals awards ceremony in April of 2013.

Congratulations to the Structural Challenge team from Delta Center Elementary in Grand Ledge who won 1st place in their Regional and Affiliate finals tournaments. This team was one of the 39 who represented Michigan at the 2013 Global Finals Tournament!
The Ninja Falcons from the Troy Creative Minds DI program were happy to throw down some Zombie Apocalypse Thriller hand signs after winning their challenge at the 2013 Michigan Destination Imagination Affiliate Finals tournament.
