Costs

The cost to participate per team is $165 for competitive teams and $135 for early learning/ non competitive teams.

-- This includes purchase of your team number and payment of the Regional Tournament Fee, which is paid at the time of team number purchase.

The Basics of DI

Destination Imagination is an educational program in which student teams, made up of 2-7 members, solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at fun, local Tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges, and develop innovative thinking strategies. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and skills, they learn to unleash their imaginations and take unique approaches to problem solving.

How can I start a DI team?

The first step in starting a DI team is to find a group of students who are interested in working together to develop innovative solutions and have fun as a team! Once you have a team of students assembled, or know that you will have a team of students assembled, purchase a team number (program kit) from DestinationImagination. Your program kit will include a Team Manager resource binder that will have an optional curriculum that will help guide you throughout the season, and will also include the full set of challenges that the team will read through and select one to spend their season working on. Local registration will also occur - but more information would be sent to you on that after you purchase your team number.
