Welcome to the 2007-2008 Destination ImagiNation season!

We would like to invite you to join us for another exciting DI year. Please share the following important dates and information with your DI Team Managers.

 

=        Team Manager Training -Monday evening, November 5, 2007, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District, 630 Harvey Street, Muskegon. Focus: Introduction to DI, basic information and Instant Challenge overview. Target Audience: New Team Managers and anyone needing a review. See the enclosed training flier for registration information.

 

=        Appraiser Training – Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Reeths-Puffer High School, 1545 North Roberts Rd., Muskegon

 

=        Region 4 Tournament -Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Reeths-Puffer High School, 1545 North Roberts Rd., Muskegon. Please refer to the MICA website for the correct map and directions in February.

 

=        State Tournament -Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Central Michigan University.

 

=        Please check the Michigan Creativity Association website for additional trainings and information.

            The address is www.micreativity.org. There are additional trainings and workshops scheduled throughout Michigan. If you are interested in attending, check the website for dates and locations.

 

=        Please check the Destination ImagiNation website for information, materials and clarifications. The address is www.destinationimagination.org or www.idodi.org.

 

=        You will need to register and pay for your membership before you can access this year’s Challenges. You can purchase your memberships at www.shopdi.org. If you had an account last year, click on the “sign in” tab and then use the same email address and password. If you forgot your password, simply click on the “Forgot your password?” link. If you are new to Destination ImagiNation, you will need to click on the “sign in” tab and then fill out the registration form. Once you have signed in/registered, you can proceed and purchase your memberships. If you prefer, you can download a registration form at www.idodi.org and purchase your membership through the mail. After payment is received, all memberships (including Challenges) will be sent through the mail.

 

=        Registration – Teams will need to register online at www.micreativity.org for the Regional Tournament. Registration is tentatively set for December 1, 2007 through January 11, 2008. Prior to registering, you can download a worksheet on this website that will guide you through the registration process. Registrations need to be submitted online. If you do not have an appraiser by January 11, 2008, leave it blank and then contact Keith Sauter with your appraiser’s name no later than January 25, 2008. (You will not have to pay the “no appraiser” fee if you submit your appraiser’s name to Keith.) Please check the website to confirm the registration dates.
